05.22.12 LEVON HELM TRIBUTE DURING MULE SET AT MOUNTAIN JAM
As a tribute to Levon Helm during their second set on Saturday night at the Mountain Jam Festival, Gov't Mule will be joined by the full Levon Helm Band including Amy Helm, Larry Campbell, Teresa Williams and the LHB Horns among others. The set will feature music from Helm’s 50+-year career with tunes from The Band as well as Levon’s solo work."Levon was a musical hero of mine. His 70th birthday celebration at Mountain Jam 2 years ago was a magical night and a truly inspiring musical performance.
